Following the success of the Gafencu Gala Dinner in Hong Kong, a similar star-studded event was held at the Beijing Topwin InterContinental on 18 November.
The event in Beijing celebrated Gafencu’s change from being the leading publication for the most successful, affluent and discerning men in mainland China and Hong Kong, to now also serving the growing number of successful and high-profile women in its two core territories.
The Beijing Gala Dinner featured the presentation of the Gafencu awards for Sports, won by Sarah Chong; Film Directing, won by Teddy Chen; Properties, won by Shi Lin; and Retail, won by Hei Yong.
The specially invited guests were entertained by acclaimed singers Lui Fong and Yan Shuming.
VIP guests at the event included Charles Pang, Heidi Chan, Peter Hoi, Lui Fong, Mandy Yim and Teddy Chen.
Other VIPs in attendance were Sarah Chong, Shi Lin, Hei Yong, Daniel Chan, Joe Ma and Alex Wang.
The Gala Dinner also featured a raffle with RMB250,000 worth of gifts.
The event was hosted by Mrs Lina Ross Mohindar, founder and Chairman of Total Media Limited, the publishers of Gafencu.
