Good news for dessert lovers! World Pastry Champion and Meilleur Ouvrier de France awardee Franck Michel is in Hong Kong this July. He will be hosting an exclusive afternoon tea set featuring seasonal tropical fruits at Café 103, The Ritz-Carlton from 1 July to 31 August.
With a series of awards and accomplishments to his name, Franck Michel is a well-known name in the patisserie world. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has launched his own patisserie brand and he has won the Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2004 and he was crowned the World Pastry Champion in 2006.
Since 2007, he has been working as a pastry consultant and he coached the French and Spanish national teams to victory at the World Pastry Cup in 2009 and 2011.
Michel’s signature dishes include passion fruit choux, mixed berries and almond lemon dacquoise and almond apricot dome. For those who prefer savoury snacks, Cafe 103 will offer chicken salad mini burgers, caviar red-pepper blue crab Swiss rolls, smoked salmon croissants and more.
