Legendary Italian eatery Paper Moon opens its doors in Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s love affair with Italian food is about to get hotter. Renowned Italian eatery Paper Moon has just opened doors in Hong Kong, bringing with it 40 years of experience in “providing good value honest Italian cuisine.”

Headed by Italian Executive Chef Giuliano Docasto, guests can expect signatures dishes such as grass-fed Angus beef carpaccio, pizza porcini e tartufo, seven-week aged Black Angus porterhouse and Paper Moon tiramisu.

There’s also a staggering wine list. Oenophiles can pick from over a hundred labels of Italian wines, some sourced from private collections.

Perhaps most remarkable of all is the arrestingly large 1.4-tonne Ambrogi pizza oven imported directly from Italy. Standing at almost two metres tall and costing over HK$100,000, this oven promises a truly authentic Italian pizza experience.

Perfectly situated on the waterfront, Paper Moon boasts a spacious balcony with a 270-degree view of Victoria Harbour. It’s a fantastic venue for a private function too!
