Gucci moves swiftly to land Tom Hiddlestone

British actor Tom Hiddlestone, who hit the headlines recently over his romance and then subsequent break-up with singer Taylor Swift, is the new face of Gucci for their Cruise 2017 Men’s Tailoring line.

For the Italian fashion house’s latest campaign, the actor is photographed wearing patterned suits, fur-lined slippers and a glitzy jacket, in a room surrounded by heirlooms and paintings.

However, Hiddleston, who is known to millions for playing Loki in the Thor and Avengers movies, is overshadowed by the Afghan hounds that accompany him in every photo.

Hiddleston’s snazzy jacket and furry slippers are no match for the scene-stealing Afghan hounds’ long flowing locks.

Perhaps Hiddlestone should just stick to acting.

The campaign was shot in Los Angeles, in an historic mansion owned by the late artist Tony Duquette.
