As we creep into autumn, the window of opportunity to wear dresses and skirts with floral patterns on them gets smaller. Or so you’d think. Designer Cath Kidston is bucking the trend that winter means people should wear dark colours.
Kidston’s Autumn/Winter collection is inspired by late summer days spent in an English orchard or hosting a tea party at home, which sounds like something your mum or gran would do. But kudos to Kidston for trying to add some colour to the grey winter months.
Some of the clothes in the English designer’s collection come with prints of an orchard blossom, forest rose and, weirdly, telephones.
The collection is perfect for anyone who is nostalgic about the spirit of summer and enjoys wearing clothes with summer prints and novelty graphics.
