Geox promises sustainability in its latest Respira FW19 Collection

Since its founding some 25 years ago, Italian footwear company Geox has established itself as a leader in sustainability and comfort. In fact, the very idea of creating more comfortable shoes came to Chairman and Founder Mario Moretti Polegato when the heat of the Reno desserts in Nevada led him to use a Swiss army knife to pierce the rubber soles of his shoes to try and relieve his soles from the unbearable heat.

Jump to the present day, Geox has revamped itself with urban-cool men’s and children’s designs, and for the ladies the pumps have never looked so chic. Whether one is headed to work in the midst of the concrete jungle, or hiking up a trail in the countryside, the Respira range allows for breathable footwear with modern technology and recycled materials such as polyester.

Meanwhile, collaborations for the children’s Respira line are set to take place with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Disney’s Frozen 2 later this year, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
